The Festival will be on Saturday 9th May and will be held at The Royal British Legion, Ravenswood, 25 Ramsay Road, Banchory AB31 5TS. There will not be a Strathspey and Reel practice on Thursday 8th January 2026 due to the weather.

Strathspey and Reel Society resumes practices on Thursday 25th August. Juniors will be from 7pm till 7.45pm and Seniors are from 7.45pm till 9pm. We have moved our practices to Banchory British Legion, Ravenswood Country Club, 25 Ramsay Road, Banchory. We are looking forward to having our practices there from now on! You are all welcome to come along to the practices on Thursday evenings. New members are always very welcome.
It is with regret that we have had to take the difficult decision to cancel the Banchory Festival of Scottish Music for 2022. Covid restrictions are still making it difficult for us to ensure that we can host a comfortable, safe and successful day for everyone.
